How It Works

The quality of the photo you provide is crucial to the final pet portrait. Please review the following guidelines to make sure your photo meets the requirements.

  • Make sure the photo is taken in a brightly lit room (sunlight works great)
  • Use a digital or high quality camera (most smartphones will do)
  • Try to avoid shadows, ensure the whole face and neck is visible.
  • Do not use filters
  • For best results have your pet look directly at the camera. Other angles will work, just keep in mind the position you provide will be that in the final portrait.

  • Pet laying down
  • Low Light
  • Dark Shadows
  • Photo not at eye level
